Celebrating the achievements of women of colour in the UK, the 6th Annual Precious Awards 2012 will take place on October 25 at The Savoy, London.

“We’re changing the face of women of colour in British business,” says award founder Foluke Akinlose MBE. "The contribution they make to UK PLC is vital, and we are proud to be celebrating that fact."

With a keynote address from one of the only female CEOs in the FTSE 100, Ruby McGregor-Smith, and a speech from GB Olympic gold medallist Christine Ohuruogu MBE, the evening is set to be an inspiring one. Prime Minister David Cameron has given the awards his full support, saying: “This is vital work, the awards will help to create great role models for others to follow.”
